I’m every woman…Whitney Elizabeth Houston (August 9, 1963-February 11, 2012) The life of the extraordinary singer, actress, model and mother was one that will go down in history.  Her dream of becoming famous paid off at a young age, being surrounded by her mother Cissy Houston; honorary Aunt Aretha Franklin and Cousin Dionne Warwick, Whitney was influenced and guided by love into her choice of career.  The camera was Whitney’s friend from early on as she dabbled in modeling as well as acting.  In the early 1980s she became the first woman of color to grace the cover of Seventeen Magazine Discovered by Clive Davis in 1983 she was signed on the spot but did not start her album right away.  Houston made her first appearance with Teddy Pendergrass on “Hold Me” and from there her career took off.  Houston is the only artist to chart seven consecutive No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hits.  She also has sold over 170 million albums, singles and videos worldwide.  She released 7
